I love strawberries on almost any dessert. I love the sweetness, the slight tartness, and the color that it adds. This strawberry topping couldn’t be easier (seriously, it’s two ingredients!) but it adds so much to anything you put it on. Letting the strawberries sit in the refrigerator allows the strawberries to start releasing their juices, which I love on my desserts.

Try this recipe today and see what you can add it to. I personally love it on ice cream, angel food cake, cheesecake, biscuits, crepes, pancakes, waffles and so much more. It is also amazing topped with some fresh whipped cream (which many don’t know is equally as easy as these strawberries). I do prefer to make this the day I am planning on using it but it can hold for a day or two before the strawberries start to get soft.
